Residents from participating communities will need to phone in their request for an available appointment time in order to participate in the October 13 Residential Electronics Collection. Please call 217-819-4035 during business hours (8am to 4:30pm) to request an appointment time.
The collection event takes place on Saturday, October 13, 2018, from 8am to 12:30pm at Parkland College, located at 2400 W. Bradley Avenue in Champaign (eligible residents need to use the Duncan Road entrance into the college).
Only residents who live in the participating communities can register:

Residents must reserve one of the 15-minute time slots available between 8am and 12:30pm. Immediately upon reserving a time, residents will receive an e-mail and/or text message confirming their reserved time. Residents will then receive a postcard in the U.S. Mail five to seven days before the event, which will serve as their “ticket” into it.
Information regarding accepted items can be found on the Champaign County Reduce Reuse Recycle webpage. There will be a two-television limit per postcard (all types, models, and sizes of televisions are accepted, working and non-working) and a 10-item total limit per postcard.
This event is co-sponsored by City of Champaign, City of Urbana, Champaign County, Champaign County Court & Probation Services, and Village of Savoy, with financial support provided from each participating community. The event will go ahead rain or shine. Severe weather will increase wait times, but the wait will still be minimal. The weather would have to get very severe before it is canceled.
