The RPC is now accepting requests for proposals from architectural contractors, mechanical contractors, and appliance suppliers for labor and materials. All bids must be submitted using the RPC’s bid packet. Bid packets will be issued to any contractor/supplier who requests one in person at the RPC offices.

All bid requests should include a valid e-mail address. Bid packets will be made available starting Monday, December 17, 2018. All requests for bid packets must be received in our office no later than Tuesday, January 8, 2019.
A bid information meeting for contractors/suppliers interested in submitting bids will be held at the RPC offices on Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at 1pm. Participation in the meeting is mandatory for the bid to be considered.
All bid packets must be completed and returned to the RPC’s office no later than 12pm on Monday, January 14, 2019. Bid packet submissions must be marked “SEALED BID.” A public bid opening will be held on Monday, January 14, 2019, at 1pm, and checked for completion at the RPC at 1pm. Winning bidders will be announced at a later time.
A general description of the bid includes:
Architectural work: bids to insulate and air seal homes, repair and install exhaust fans, replace glass in windows, weather-strip doors, install guttering, and make roof repairs.
Mechanical work: bids to repair or replace furnaces, air conditioning systems, boilers, heat pumps, water heaters, and their related parts and components.
Appliances: bids to provide and install refrigerators and stoves.
The RPC reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, or to accept any proposal or part of a proposal that, in its judgment, will be in the best interest of the program and/or agency.
