DRAFT Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP): 30-Day Public Review Period

The Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) is a federally mandated document that is updated every five years, and looks at the projected evolution of pedestrian, bicycle, transit, automobile, rail, and air travel over the next 25 years. The DRAFT Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) is available for public review and comment from Wednesday, October 23, through Thursday November 21, 2019. Visit www.ccrpc.org/lrtp2045 to view the plan online and email any questions/comments/feedback to Ashlee McLaughlin amclaughlin@ccrpc.org. If you prefer to review a hardcopy of the plan, a printed version of the website is available at the Champaign Public Library, Illinois Terminal, Urbana Free Library, Savoy Municipal Center, Mahomet Administration Building, Tolono Public Library, and the Champaign County Regional Planning Commission office at the Brookens Administrative Center. All feedback will be reviewed and considered. CUUATS staff will present the final document for approval at the CUUATS Technical Committee meeting on December 4, 2019 and the CUUATS Policy Committee meeting on December 11, 2019. Both meetings with take place at 10:30 at the Brookens Administrative Center.
