The RPC’s Early Childhood Education program is hosting a hiring event for teachers and teacher aides on Thursday, May 13, and Friday, May 14, at the West Champaign Early Childhood Education Center (103 S. Country Fair Drive). The event lasts from 10am to 2pm on each day, and same-day job offers will be made to qualified applicants.

All attendees of the hiring event must follow COVID-19 protocols and be screened before entering the center, as well as meet background and reference check requirements. The RPC is looking to fill positions at all five of its Early Childhood Education Centers in Champaign County (Champaign, West Champaign, Rantoul, Savoy, and Urbana). Current openings can be viewed here.

“This hiring event is a perfect opportunity for those in our community looking to start or further their careers in the Child Development and preschool fields,” says Brandi Granse, the RPC’s Early Childhood Education Director. “If you have a passion for children and families, along with creative ideas to develop a positive classroom environment, we would love you to join our team.”

The RPC’s Early Childhood Education program offers competitive benefits, health insurance, dental insurance, retirement, tuition reimbursement, and high-quality programming accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
