April 21, 2021
The RPC’s Community Services division is hosting a virtual forum on Thursday, April 29, 2021, to allow Champaign County residents to address a number of topics of importance to the community. Topics that will be discussed include employment, education, transportation, childcare, health, food security, and housing in Champaign County.
Champaign County residents can register for the forum here; it will be taking place over Zoom. The forum will last from 6-7pm on April 29 and people can register for it until April 27 at 11:59pm. A link to the Zoom presentation will be sent prior to the meeting to individuals who sign up to attend. A total of 60 participants will be allowed to attend.
RPC staff will collect responses from the registration form to determine topics that will receive priority. Attendees will be able to interact with RPC staff during the forum and be directed to information about resources and programs available.
“This forum will help our organization gather crucial feedback and data that will assist with shaping programs offered by the RPC,” explains RPC program manager Ashlee Salinetro. “By understanding what needs our community members are seeing, we will be able to better connect individuals in the community to be successful and to further fulfill the RPC’s mission.”
