Request for Bids



Champaign County Regional Planning Commission is requesting bids from qualified vendors to provide labor/materials to be used for installation of handicap accessibility ramps for approximately 20 homes during the balance of the bid period October 1, 2018, through December 31, 2018. The labor/materials must meet the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards for labor/materials and guidelines as set forth in ordinance and/or code by the municipality where the home is located.

Bid package materials will be available as of Monday, August 27, 2018,3 at the Champaign County Regional Planning Commission. An informational meeting for contractors interested in submitting bids will be held at the offices of Champaign County Regional Planning Commission on Friday, September 7, 2018, at 10am.  Both verbal and written questions will be accepted during the conference. Detailed minutes of the pre-bid conference will be distributed to all suppliers that submit a “Notification of Interest.”

To be considered, one copy of a complete bid package must be received by Champaign County Regional Planning Commission, 1776 E. Washington, Urbana, Illinois 61802 by 8:30am on Tuesday, September 18, 2018.

It is anticipated the selection of a successful bidder(s) will be completed Friday, September 28, 2018. Following the selection of the successful bidder(s), certified letters will be sent to all bidders notifying them of the selection.

Champaign County Regional Planning Commission reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, or to accept any proposal or part of a proposal that, in its judgment, will be in the best interest of the program and/or agency.
