A. Your firm is invited to submit an offer under seal to Owner for construction of a roof replacement located at 310 Church Street, Savoy, IL 61874 before 9:00 am local standard time on the 21st day of August 2018.

B. Bids are to be received at the Champaign County Regional Planning Commission office located in the Brookens Administration Building at 1776 E. Washington St, Urbana, IL. Bids will be open in the John Dimit Conference

C. Bids received after the stated time will not be accepted, and will be returned

F. Project Description: Work includes the removal and installation of an asphalt shingled hip and mansard roof including new gutters and downspouts. Project will consist of a Base Bid for the main building and an alternate for the building

G. Bid Documents for a Stipulated Sum contract may be obtained from the office of the Architect upon receipt of a refundable deposit, by cash, check or CIB card, in the amount of $50 for one set. Contractors may be mailed sets for a separate non-refundable $15.00 fee. No partial sets will be distributed. Deposit checks will be returned to Bidders who return the contractor documents to the Architect in good condition, within ten (10) days after the opening of bids. Electronic copies may be obtained free of charge through Reifsteck Reid’s Sharefile website.

PREVAILING WAGES: Contractors will be required to comply with all laws, including those relating to prevailing rate of wages of the various classes of work to be performed under the proposed contract as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor, in accordance with Federal Labor Standards provision, US Department of

3. Savoy Head Start

a. Work includes interior painting, site paving that includes repairs and new ADA parking space, new sidewalks, landscaping improvements, and other miscellaneous

E. Bid Documents for a Stipulated Sum contract may be obtained from the office of the Architect upon receipt of a refundable deposit, by cash, check or CIB card, in the amount of $100 for one set. Contractors may be mailed sets for a separate non-refundable $15.00 fee. No partial sets will be distributed. Deposit checks will be returned to Bidders who return the contractor documents to the Architect in good condition, within ten (10) days after the opening of bids. G. A Pre-bid meeting will be held at Rantoul Head Start located at 104 Nightingale Ct., Rantoul, IL on July 17th at 2:30 p.m. The Pre-bid meeting is not mandatory; however interested contractors should attend this meeting to familiarize themselves with the project area.

H.
