2018 Positive Rating There were 6 traffic fatalities in 2018 in the Metropolitan Planning Area (MPA), a decrease from 9.2 fatalities in 2017 (5-year rolling average). The 5-year rolling average decreased 8.7 percent from 2017 (2013-2017) to 8.4 fatalities in 2018 (2014-2018), which is lower than the 2018 objective (9.0) needed for achieving a 2 percent annual reduction by 2025. Positive rating.
2019 Positive Rating There were 3 traffic fatalities in 2019 in the Metropolitan Planning Area (MPA), a decrease from 9.2 fatalities in 2017 (5-year rolling average). The 5-year rolling average decreased 19.6 percent from 2017 (2013-2017) to 7.4 fatalities in 2019 (2015-2019), which is lower than the 2019 objective (8.8) needed for achieving 2 percent annual reduction by 2025. Positive rating.
2020 Positive Rating There were 10 traffic fatalities in 2020 in the Metropolitan Planning Area (MPA), an increase from 9.2 fatalities in 2017 (5-year rolling average). The 5-year rolling average decreased 17.4 percent from 2017 (2013-2017) to 7.6 fatalities in 2020 (2016-2020), which is lower than the 2020 objective (8.7) needed for achieving 2 percent annual reduction by 2025. 2021 Positive Rating There were 13 traffic fatalities in 2021 in the Metropolitan Planning Area (MPA), an increase from 9.2 fatalities in 2017 (5-year rolling average). The 5-year rolling average decreased 15.2 percent from 2017 (2013-2017) to 7.8 fatalities in 2021 (2017-2021), which is lower than the 2021 objective (8.49) needed for achieving 2 percent annual reduction by 2025.
