Rural Champaign County Transportation Plan, Existing Conditions Analysis

Rural Champaign County Transportation Plan, Existing Conditions Analysis

The Rural Champaign County Transportation Plan will guide where and how rural Champaign County invests in a safe, convenient, and functional transportation network to more fully realize its opportunities to better serve its residents and attract and retain businesses, people, capital, and talent.

To ensure such an end is met, CCRPC has prepared an existing conditions analysis for the rural Champaign County area, through creating fact sheets for each township in the study area. The township fact sheets (Chapter A to Y) provide relevant data on demographic, socio-economic, land use, transportation network, roadway maintenance responsibility, and traffic and travel patterns, including average daily traffic (ADT), crash severity, crash types, and crash locations.

This document relies on the 2017 American Community Survey 5-year data produced by the U.S. Census Bureau and 2014-2018 traffic crash data provided by the Illinois Department of Transportation, and may not reflect the recent changes that have occurred in the past few years.
