2017 Positive Rating There were 6 total A-injuries due to impaired driving in 2017 in the rural area, a decrease from 11.8 A-injuries in 2016 (5-year rolling average). The 5-year rolling average decreased 6.8 percent from 2016 (2012-2016) to 11.0 A-injuries in 2017 (2013-2017) which is lower than the 2017 objective (11.6) needed for achieving a 2 percent annual reduction by 2025. Positive rating.
2018 Negative Rating There were 9 total A-injuries due to impaired driving in 2018 in the rural area, a decrease from 11.8 A- injuries in 2016 (5-year rolling average). The 5-year rolling average decreased 3.4 percent from 2016 (2012-2016) to 11.4 A-injuries in 2018 (2014-2018) which is still higher than the 2018 objective (11.3) needed for achieving a 2 percent annual reduction by 2025. Neutral rating.
2019 Positive Rating There was 1 total A-injury due to impaired driving in 2019 in the rural area, a decrease from 11.8 A-injuries in 2016 (5-year rolling average). The 5-year rolling average decreased 28.8 percent from 2016 (2012-2016) to 8.4 A-injuries in 2019 (2015-2019), which is lower than the 2019 objective (11.1) needed for achieving 2 percent annual reduction by 2025. Positive rating. .
2020 Positive Rating There were 10 A-injuries due to impaired driving in 2021 in the rural area, a decrease from 11.8 A-injuries in 2016 (5-year rolling average). The 5-year rolling average decreased 50.8 percent from 2016 (2012-2016) to 5.8 A-injuries in 2021 (2017-2021), which is lower than the 2021 objective (10.66) needed for achieving 2 percent annual reduction by 2025. Positive rating.
2021 Positive Rating There was no bicyclist fatality in 2021 in the Metropolitan Planning Area (MPA). There could not have been an even lower number of fatalities in 2021 than 0. Positive rating.
