2023 Public Participation Plan (PPP) Proposed Approval

The Draft 2023 Public Participation Plan (PPP) was presented to the CUUATS Technical and Policy Committees for approval on September 6 and September 13, respectively. The PPP describes the public participation process, strategies, and working applications of the plan. It also describes how CUUATS includes traditionally underserved populations in this process as well as the local, state, and federal policies that inform the use of public involvement.

The document was out for a 45-day public comment period directly following these meetings from April 20^th to June 5^th. Two sets of comments were received, one from the Champaign Public Library location and one through email. The suggestions and responses will be provided at the Technical Committee meeting (September 6^th) and the Policy Committee meeting (September 13^th) at 10:30AM in the John Dimit Conference Room at the Brookens Administration Building. The PPP’s changes are expected to be minimal, and so CUUATS will recommend that the plan be approved with changes.
