The Draft 2023 Public Participation Plan (PPP) was presented to the CUUATS Technical and Policy Committees for approval on April 5 and April 12, respectively. The PPP describes the public participation process, strategies, and working applications of the plan. It also describes how CUUATS includes traditionally underserved populations in this process as well as the local, state, and federal policies that inform the use of public involvement.
The document has been advertised in the News Gazette for a 45-day public comment period from April 20th to June 5th. Comments on the document can be sent to Allison Gwinup at agwinup@ccrpc.org. Paper copies of the draft have also been provided to the Champaign and Urbana public libraries at their reference desks for written comment.
